These may include mail and package retrieval, indoor plant watering, light and window covering adjustments, trash handling, or laundering of guest linens. Just let us know your preferences in your profile or when scheduling, and we’ll ensure they’re part of your visit.

For house sitting and pet taxi reservations, we arrive at the scheduled time.
For drop-in visits and walks, we operate on a two-hour arrival window to allow flexibility for other clients, traffic, weather, emergencies, and late requests. For example, a 1:00 p.m. booking means we’ll arrive between noon–2:00 p.m. Pets with strict medical needs are always prioritized, and we're happy to discuss your specific needs.
Hollis Area Pet Sitters does not issue refunds. We will issue:
100% credit if unsafe weather conditions prevent a reservation from taking place
50% credit if a non-holiday or non-peak period reservation is canceled with more than 48 hours’ notice
50% credit if a holiday or peak period reservation is canceled with more than two weeks’ notice
Refer to our Terms of Service or Payment Authorization form for additional details
Payment is required upon approval of services. For your convenience, we offer AutoPay, which automatically charges your card on the day your request is approved. Clients who choose to opt out of AutoPay must complete payment manually before services can be rendered.
Most clients provide a physical key or a door or garage code. We require at least one backup access method, ideally a lockbox. Keys held by Hollis Area Pet Sitters for ongoing services are coded and kept in a secure location. A small pick-up and drop-off fee applies when keys are not kept on file.
